uuuu >.< I'm sure it's just that you need to get used to the BBCode setup for a while.
on the first message board I went to, I ended up getting lost(rly) and found my way to a out of date, phantom version of the site, with all post from years ago and this weird background image XD I was sooo freaked out. I thought I'd broken the whole site :3

I handy thing that you may not have noticed is the little 'preview' button next to 'send' just below the text-entering area. It'll give you a preview of what the finished post will look like with all the link/images/BBCode stuff in it, so you can be sure if it'll work. ^.^
